Knock-knocks, jokes, riddles and URL's
Clean Cute stories
Dale Hayes suggested we add "Knock-knocks" like we had on the original Cactus Club. To be truthful I don't remember them...but we can add cute stories and URLs as kickers.
If you have any "Knock-knocks" (that are family oriented) send them to me at dick.cactus@gmail.com and I'll be happy to post them here. Thanks Dale!

Then there's the story of the little girl that came up to the preacher who was shaking hands at the door as the congregation left. She said, "Preacher, when I grow up I'm going to give you a lot of money!"
Preacher was impressed and puffed...he asked, "Why?"
Little girl answered, "Cause Momma says you are the poorest preacher our church has ever had!"

From Marilyn, but I can't include the cute graphics that come with it! :-(
To My On-line Friends
Well here is the cure ... just smile and say...
Dear Lord ...
I know you're watching over me
And I'm feeling truly blessed
For no matter what I pray for
You always know what's best!
I have this circle of E-mail friends,
Who mean the world to me;
Some days I "send" and "send,"
At other times, I let them be.
I am so blessed to have these friends,
With whom I've grown so close;
So this little poem I dedicate to them,
Because to me they are the "Most"!
When I see each name download,
And view the message they've sent;
I know they've thought of me that day,
And "well wishes" were their intent.
So to you, my friends, I would like to say, !
Thank you for being a part;
Of all my daily contacts,
This comes right from my heart.
God bless you! is my prayer today,
I'm honored to call you "friend";
I pray the Lord will keep you safe,
Until we write again.

There's the story about Alice who's Mom was having a big dinner party. Alice asked if she could say the blessing that night. Mom agreed. Alice asked, "What shall I say?"
Mom said, "Oh you've heard me pray many times...just repeat what I would say" Came the meal. Mom said, "Before we sit down, Alice is going to say Grace". Alice very solmnely bowed her head and prayed, "Dear Lord, why did I ever ask this many people over here tonight?"
