Tulsa State Fair Booth
Our Booth in the Expo Building Starting in 1978 we went to the Tulsa State Fair with a soft ice cream operation. We loved the people and the excitement of seeing really big Brahman Bulls and the rodeos, the cowpokes and their families. In this photo the lady in the blue stripped apron (3rd from left) is Mrs. Maxine Secrest. Her husband, Rev. Charles Secrest, was aboard the LST 808 many years earlier, a shipmate of mine. We still keep in touch with folks from Tulsa! |
